Title: Office Supervisor (mult.)
Location: Benchmark Cellular, Inc., 13350 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75240
Duties: Serve as a first-line supervisor overseeing the sales and administrative staff in the operation of multiple retail kiosk locations selling mobile device accessories and repair services. Supervise the work of office, administrative, and customer service staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper office procedures, correcting errors or problems as they arise. Ensure that all kiosk locations are opened timely and closed as per procedure. Correspond with the Mall managers in regards with customer complaints, sales and customer issues. Guide employees in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes. Prepare weekly work schedules for staff, subject to owner’s approval. Perform hiring as required, including full time and seasonal hiring. Communicate work procedures and company policies to staff. Supervise the process of weekly order sheets and ensure that the correct merchandise is being timely ordered/provided. Supervise the work of North and South Merchandising managers including collection of repaired screens/inventory sheets/LCDs sent out. Establish sales targets monthly and communicate in accordance with the previous year’s sales and market dynamics. Update/revise pricing sheet for all locations on a weekly basis for the phones and iPad repairs completed. Follow-up on employee feedback for merchandise required and latest trends which must be in sync with the needs of the market and look for cheaper markets of purchase. Check transactions made at each location daily to hold employees accountable for sales targets and price maintenance. Ensure technicians are following the process of repairing a device correctly and establish accountability errors. Run digital campaigns to establish the company’s presence on social media. Maintain/update company’s website.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of progressive, professional experience in the job offered or related occupation in a service or retail business. Will accept Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field and 4 years of progressive, professional experience in the job offered or related occupation in a service or retail business, or any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience must include: 1) Requires iPhone/Samsung Technician Certification. 2) Two years of experience applying knowledge of business and management principles to business planning, resource allocation, human resources, small group leadership, improvement of business processes and production methods, and coordination of people and resources. 3) Two years of experience applying principles and processes for customer needs assessment. 4) Two years of experience using administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, file management and employee record retention, form design, and other office procedures and terminology. 5) Two years of experience with standard office productivity software, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point. 6) Experience in WordPress and running digital campaigns on social media.
